ICI Book

I worked with Inner City Impact to create this beautiful book. In the slider  will see a couple of sample mockups of how this book will look when it is printed. If you'd like to view the entire 85 page book the links will be below.

As the point person on this project I worked with Jason Stretzel from ICI to come up with a time line for its production. I was both the writer and designer for this book. And as such it was important for me to stay on top of things.

I took stories ICI already had collected in print or video format and put them together for this book. Then I designed the theme and layout of the book. I chose photographs out of many that ICI keeps on file and gave me access to or used ones they requested. Sometimes I had to edit them for clarity or to decrease distracting content in them. After this was complete I worked with Professor Jeremy Pettitt for design critiques and input which he gave me on 3 separate occasions. I also had Jason (my client) look it over for any specific design requests. It was then sent through ICI's copy editing team and final through the rest of the ICI marketing team for approval.

It was set to be printed March 2020 for a big event ICI was going to hold. But, unfortunately due to Covoid-19 it will probably not be published for another year.
