Metanoia Website Redesign

As the web developer on the Metanoia team, I was heading up the project for the website's redesign. I got feedback from all team members on what they considered essential for our new website. I wrote up a document with all of the updates to be passed on to a freelancer we were going to hire for the project.

Then Covoid-19 hit and our team didn't have the finances to pay a freelancer for the redesign.

So, I did a total website overload on my own using the input I had previously collected. As part of this I developed a new home page and a new podcast page, I also redesigned all the old pages (devotional pages, about page, subscribe page...). You can see the new website at metanoia.media or connect with me to see screenshots of different pages.

One of the really big steps I took in redesigning this website was to design it as mobile-first. This was very intentional as the majority of our users access our website from a phone or tablet. It was essential that it should look beautiful and be easy to navigate on these devices even more so than on a desktop, though I believe it looks and functions beautifully on all of them.
